Watchmen - Rorschach
I have been busy with some important matters so I wasn't able to create my daily sketch for last week.
Moving on with my Project 365, I present you my own sketch of Watchmen's Rorschach. I copied elements from a watchmen poster and other elements from a sketch I found in the net.
Anyways, I watched the movie last week and all I can say is that it still has a lot of potential, although in my opinion, it was not able to reach its full potential. I loved the opening credits, hats off to that part. The whole movie seems a bit slow at most parts, but well acted. What probably is needed is a bit more fine-tuning on the editing of the scenes. The ending, in my opinion, is not that bad even if it diverges from the one in the comic book.
All in all, the movie is a good watch. It has some great moments but not a great movie as a whole. Still, I would recommend it to comic book fans and non-fans alike as it is still fun seeing the characters in live action.
This is the same with the Harry Potter movies. Even though some of the films did not stay very faithful to the book, it is great actually seeing the characters and the environment instead of just imagining them.
