Hush Batman

Batman Hush Volume 1 is the first trade paperback comic book I bought. And for me, it was a great introduction to the Batman mythos. It has lots of essential Batman elements; you will be given a healthy dose of Batman's detective skills and a lot of action scenes. You will be introduced with most of the significant characters in the comic, the villains, allies and even Batman's love interests.

It has a lot of references to previous events throughout the Dark Knight's history. in fact, you will need to research some of these references just so you ill understand them, which is good because after reading the entire series (Volume 1 and 2) you will have grasped a brief overview of the important events in the Batman's life.

I did this sketch based on this comic book. I drew Hush actually based on Rorschach which I drew previously (note the similarities of the trench coat).
